Dear Luray Elementary faculty, staff and families,
LES went into a very short lockdown keeping all students in class this morning. This was necessary to address a medical situation that required assistance from emergency services. At the conclusion of the lockdown, a scheduled monthly fire drill was conducted. Students are now back in class and engaging in their regularly scheduled activities.
Additionally, this morning, several containers of juice were found to have gone bad. All juice has been pulled from LES and new juice is being delivered to the school for us this week. Staff are working to determine the cause of this issue to ensure that it does not happen again.
Thank you for your continued support of PCPS.
Dr. Fox
