Today, Dr. Huber visited Springfield Elementary School where he was invited to visit Mrs. Keim's class. During his visit, Dr. Huber had the opportunity to read poetry to the class and he was greatly impressed by everyone, from the leadership, to the staff, teachers, and students. High level learning was occurring and students were engaged and supported. Dr. Huber said, "I had a blast, and it was the highlight of my week." He describes the work being done at Springfield as, "Impressive."
Dr. Huber has asked that staff reach out to extend invitations for him to visit them where they work within the division. Engaging in these visits allows him to see first-hand the great things that are taking place within our schools.

This morning, division superintendent, Dr. Bryan Huber, joined members of the PCPS transportation department for their morning pick-ups. Dr. Huber has asked everyone within the division to "invite" him in to see what is taking place within our schools. This not only gives our staff the opportunity to show what they do on a daily basis, but it allows Dr. Huber to see the inner workings of our division, and the great things that take place every single day. This is the first of many "invites" Dr. Huber is sure to get.
