UPDATE! Thank You for showing your support of Luray High School's Field of Flags for Veteran's Day. As of this morning we have raised $1780 for Disabled American Veterans (DAV). This leaves us just $220 away from our second goal of $2000. You still have time to honor your veteran and help us raise critical funds for our ill and injured heroes. Make your contribution by November 3rd to show your support!

Luray High School has already raised $1,255.00 for DAV. We surpassed our original goal of $1000. Help us reach our new goal of $2000.00. https://support.dav.org/participants/23290
Luray High School seniors, currently taking Ms. Getz’s Government classes, are raising money to help support Disabled American Veterans (DAV) by honoring those who have served. They are doing this by creating their own “Field of Flags” at Luray High School for the upcoming Veteran’s Day.
By making a donation of at least $10 to DAV, a flag will be placed on your behalf in honor of someone you choose, who has served our country. DAV’s Field of Flags empowers communities to honor local veterans and raise funds that help to support our ill or injured veterans.
If you would like to make a contribution to this worthy cause, please scan the QR code on the flyer or visit LHS Class of 2026 Honors Vets (https://support.dav.org/participants/23290).
The flags will be delivered one week before Veteran’s Day, and then they will be displayed on the drive into LHS.
Join us in creating our “Field of Flags” by sharing the webpage via social media or email!

LURAY AREA--
Please be aware that there are multiple reroutes taking place at this time due to the railroad. These reroutes are out of our control. The area we are currently aware of are Linden Ave, Virginia Ave, North Court Street Extension, and parts of South Court.
Please have patience, as this is out of our control and we are doing what we can to navigate these detours. Updates will be provided if necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
