Ms. Weikle’s Honors Environmental Science class brought photosynthesis to life this week 🌱☀️

During a hands-on mini lab, students observed oxygen bubbles being released by plants in the presence of light—clear evidence of photosynthesis in action! By providing light energy, students were able to see how plants convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose while releasing oxygen as a byproduct.

Real science. Real observation. Real learning.

Spotlight on Success: Celebrating CTE Month with Page County Public Schools

Even though February CTE Month has wrapped up, we're not done celebrating our amazing alumni! Join us as we continue the CTE celebrations into March!

February marks National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, a time to honor the exceptional CTE programs and educators within Page County Public Schools (PCPS). In celebration, PCPS proudly presents its latest series: "Classroom to Career."

Each school day will feature an inspiring story of a school alumnus who has trekked through our CTE programs to emerge as a community leader and expert in their field. Handpicked by current PCPS CTE teachers, these alumni exemplify the transformative power of career and technical education.

This post wraps up all of the submissions for CTE Month. How wonderful it was to have so many that we had to go into March to complete them all. Thank you to all of you who submitted your information to be spotlighted in this series. We are proud of our CTE students and all of their accomplishments.
