Congratulations to these Students of the Month for February. Students are selected by staff members based on excellence in academics, character, positive behavior, and dedication. They represent excellence among the student body of Luray High School.
The Cosmetology students at Page County Technical Center have been working hard on their cutting, coloring, and styling competencies. The second-year students have been performing foiling and many permanent color services. These chemical services are highly profitable for salons. First-year students begin with basic foiling techniques, followed by temporary color, semi-color, i-color, and permanent color. These basic skills are performed on manikins first to ensure speed and accuracy. The color applications are then completed with haircuts. Cosmetology students are taking clients by appointment through the middle of March.
