Tomorrow begins Homecoming Week for LHS!
Dress Up Day: Roll the Dice--Wear your favorite number, sports jersey, or other clothing with your favorite number.
Homecoming Parade: Line up for the Homecoming Parade is at 6 p.m. at Inn Lawn Park. Students who are participating in the parade should talk with class sponsors and coaches to determine transportation to and from the parade.
There WILL BE buses at Bulldog Field that can transport students back to Inn Lawn Park to retrieve vehicles if necessary.,
Students, Parents and Community members are invited to gather immediately after the parade at Bulldog Field with the LHS Band and cheer squad for the LHS Battle Cry and Fight Song.
Hall decorating will also take place on Monday-Wednesday after school. There will be supervision after school until 4:30 or 5 p.m. each day. Students should check Schoology frequently for up-to-date information regarding all activities this week.

Homecoming Tickets Go On Sale Tuesday, September 15, 2026, during ALL LUNCHES and will be on sale through C lunch on Friday, September 18, 2026..
No tickets will be sold after C lunch on Friday. At the door price is $20 per person, no exceptions.
Homecoming Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 15, 2026, during all lunches. Tickets can be purchased in The Commons. Advance tickets can be purchased through C lunch on Friday, September 18th.
All tickets at the door on Saturday, September 19th will be $20 per person.
The bonfire that follows the game is for LHS students only.

Homecoming is coming fast for Luray High School. SCA is in need of donations of drinks for the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 19, 2026. We are requesting donations of bottled water, can sodas, Gatorades, etc. (We will not be doing 2 liter drinks this year). Any donations can be dropped off in the main office of Luray High School.

Law enforcement has reviewed the concern that prompted PCPS to implement a precautionary low-level lockdown earlier today and has advised that the additional precautions are no longer necessary.
The low-level lockdown has been lifted, and all PCPS schools are resuming normal operations. All school activities may resume as planned.
We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of our students, staff, and families and thank our local law enforcement partners for their continued support.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority.

It's the start of a brand new year! All of our staff members work so hard for our students, and we want to make sure they are recognized for the work they do.
