On Monday, April 10, 2023, there is NO SCHOOL for STUDENTS, as this is Parent/Teacher Conference Day. Conferences will take place from 10am -6 pm. Dear PCPS Community,
We are notifying you of an ongoing situation at Shenandoah Elementary.
Shenandoah Elementary School went into a school-wide lockdown at about 10:30 a.m. due to a report of a suspicious individual in the community. The Page County Sheriff’s Office and the Shenandoah Police Department are currently on site and conducting a full sweep of the area. We will remain in a lockdown until there is confirmation that all is clear from law enforcement.
No other schools are implementing lockdown procedures as this incident is isolated to the Shenandoah school area. We will continue to update everyone as new information is available.
Thank you.
