Tell Me Something Good! Robin Benson, Pre-K teacher at Springfield Elementary School, has received two shout-outs in our campaign. The first comes from Ms. Jennifer Woodward who says, "Robin has been such a blessing to me and my girls since day one! I never pictured my children having to deal with the things they do as their first experience in school, but Robin has made the transition as smooth as she can and I'll be forever grateful to her. My girls absolutely adore her and I know she will always have a special place in their hearts! Thank you Mrs. Benson you are a rock star!!" Her second shout out comes from Ms. Morgan Foster. Mrs. Benson is amazing with this group of kids. Teaching 20 4 year-olds is not an easy task, but she makes it look good! I am so thankful my son has her as his teacher. February is Career and Technical Education Month, and at Page County Public Schools we are highlighting the many programs within our division. Luray Middle School Agriculture Class, with teacher Lori DeMille, is participating in a "Plant the Moon" challenge. Only 20 schools in the state of Virginia were chosen for this project using lunar soil (simulant) to determine what growing success is possible . The students are required to submit photos and updates throughout the project.

In celebration of Career and Technical Education Month we are highlighting some of our programs throughout the division. Here we have students in Ms. Rines' Small Animal Care class at Luray High School reviewing various systems of the body and how they influence the care of our pets. In order to better understand the internal anatomy of pets, like dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and horses, students were challenged to make a 3D skeleton and identify the major bones present.
