With that being said, Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 2, 2024, is a work day for all PCPS staff. Students will resume school on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Good morning, This message is to remind parents that today, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, is a 12:30 p.m. dismissal day to begin Winter Break, and school will resume for students on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Good morning PCMS Faculty, Staff and Families, The good news is that the boilers are operational at Page County Middle School. This means that we will continue on with school today for our Page County middle school students operating on a two hour delay. Transportation will be provided and students should report to their bus stop two hours later than normal. Breakfast and lunch will be served at school. Thank you to our bus drivers, transportation staff and maintenance staff for their assistance this morning. Have a great day today!

This is an important message from Page County Public Schools-- On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Page County Middle School will be operating on a two-hour delay due to a boiler issue. This two-hour delay is only for Page County Middle School. All other schools will operate on their regular schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19, 2023. A separate message has been sent to all PCMS faculty, staff and families with information. A special thank you to our bus drivers who will be able to assist us with additional runs to pick up the Page County Middle School students. Again, only Page County Middle School will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday morning with all other schools operating on their regular schedules. Thank you and have a good evening.

Good evening Page County Middle School Faculty, Staff and Families, Late this afternoon, Page Middle experienced an issue with its boilers emitting a great deal of smoke. Shenandoah and Stanley Fire Departments responded in support and determined there was no fire. The boilers have been temporarily turned off until a technician can come to the school early tomorrow morning. Given that temperatures are expected to be low tomorrow morning, Page County Middle School will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. This two-hour delay is only for Page County Middle School. PCMS faculty and staff will also follow a two-hour delay and additional information will be provided to you in the morning. If for some reason we cannot get the boilers running, we may have to cancel school altogether for PCMS. If that decision needs to be made, we will notify families between 8:30am and 9:00am. Thank you to our fire departments for their assistance today. We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to communicate with you in the morning. Thank you and have a good evening.

These materials will be available for review from Dec 5 - Dec 20. Bus 59 will cover all of Deerfield, Bus 63 will cover Park Road and Roundhead Dr. Honeyville will be covered by bus 68 after her route. Thank you for your patience.

Students in Mrs. Knoll's classes at the four elementary schools went through the Engineering Design Process to design and create a new sleigh for Santa out of STEM supplies. Their design had to solve some of the problems that Santa encounters on Christmas Eve. Once students built their sleigh, students were challenged to code a robot to pull their sleigh through the test run.

Bus 59 will cover all of Deerfield, Bus 17 will cover Park Road and Roundhead Dr. Bus 63 will run Honeyville Rd. Section of Bus 63 will also be delayed as Bus 22 will cover Al Good, Sunset, and Bus 63 In-Town stops.

Important Bus Route Information: Part of Bus 30 route in the Luray area will be 30-40 minutes late in the morning Those areas will be Ida Rd., East Branch and Stonyman Rd. Bus 27 will be picking these students up on a double run. Thank you.

This is an important message from Page County Public Schools: Due to the uncertainty in some areas of the county, and out of an abundance of caution, Page County Public Schools will be opening on a 2 hour delay on Monday, December 11, 2023. This delay includes 12 month employees. Thank you.
