Last night, Page County Public Schools gathered to celebrate at the annual Employee Recognition Dinner. This event was to honor those members of our school community who were selected by their peers for their commitment, excellence, and going above and beyond the call of duty. Stanley Elementary School has been cleared by the Stanley Fire Department; however, while thermal images by the Fire Department show no active fire, out of an abundance of caution to determine the cause of a potential electrical situation this morning, we will be dismissing Stanley Elementary School early. PCPS will provide transportation home for all students who need it and we will share an estimated time of departure from Stanley Elementary School shortly. If parents or guardians opt to pick up their child, please have a photo ID ready and follow all directions of staff while on site. PCPS will provide a bag lunch ad drink to all students to take home. Please be advised that students will not be able to return to their classrooms to get their belongings before being dismissed. Power Outage at Page County High & Shenandoah Elementary School SVEC reports they are actively working on the outage which is impacting a large area in Shenandoah. We are proceeding with the Steak Dinner event at Page High and the 85th Shenandoah Alumni Association Dinner at Shenandoah Elementary. If there are any changes to these events, we will notify the community.
