NOTICE: Sharing Again With Some Clarification.

Important Notice to Parents of Students Entering School:

The pandemic situation DOES NOT exempt students from fulfilling physical and immunization requirements required for school entrance even if they have opted for an all remote learning option.

Clarification: VDH requirement does require the HPV vaccine for sixth grade girls, but it also allows for parent discretion after immunization material review. Thus, parents can decide whether their child receives or DOES NOT receive the HPV vaccine. It is important to note the HPV vaccine can also be administered to boys.
