Mrs. Bauserman's Honors Anatomy class is getting the opportunity to practice "dissecting" anatomical planes using gummy bears. In this hands-on activity, students will label the sectioned parts with anatomical terms such as anterior, posterior, superior, and inferior. This approach provides a visual and tangible way to learn about the anatomical directions and planes of the body while having some fun!
Join us this evening at Luray High School at 5 p.m. for a FREE dinner and an opportunity to take home a gift basket. Additionally, come prepared to laugh and be inspired as Eddie Cortes shares with us the importance of "Dreaming Big."

Mrs. Bauserman's Biology class learns the proper procedures for using microscopes.

🚸🚌 Back to School Safety Reminder 🚌🚸
As our buses roll out for the first day of school, let’s all do our part to keep students safe!
✅ Drivers: Please watch for stopped school buses. Remember, when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, it’s the law to stop.
✅ Parents & Students: Be at your stop a few minutes early, wait safely away from the road, and always cross in front of the bus where the driver can see you.
✅ Community Members: Slow down in school zones and stay alert—kids are excited and may not always look before crossing.
Let’s work together to make sure every child arrives at school and back home safely.
Wishing all our students and staff a safe, successful, and exciting school year! 🍎✏️
