She started as a special ed aide when my now sophomore was in 2nd or 3rd grade at Luray Elementary. When the program moved to Springfield, so did they. She's been there through the ups and very hard downs, she's held me when I cried, she's shared my joy in his milestones. I can't wait for her to be there sobbing with me when we watch my son get his diploma in 2024. I'm crying typing this out! She's such an amazing soul. I'm so glad to have her as my middle son began as a preschooler (and I'm heartbroken she won't be at preK for my youngest!!!). Career and Technical Education Month is February and we are celebrating the programs within our schools. Check out our Future Farmers of America: FFA members raised a market steer on campus of PCHS and the meat was then purchased by Warren County Farm Bureau and donated to “Reaching Out Now” a program that feeds the hungry in the community. Pictured is FFA members delivering their finished product to “Reaching Out Now”.

We are also still celebrating Career and Technical Education Month at PCPS. Page County High School FFA members have had a busy fall and winter. We hosted our Food for America program, collected items for senior citizens in a nursing home for the holidays, gave funds to support the giving tree at PCHS, held a goat show that was judged but a special guest judge Mr. David Cale, and we are gearing up for our livestock judging trip to Virginia Tech.

Ms. Kendra Piscitelli- Page County Middle School -Music Ms. Piscitelli has received NUMEROUS shout-outs in our initiative. 1)" Mrs. P goes above and beyond to help her students feel love and support. Her dedication to the music program is amazing, often working late nights and weekends to get things done and organized. Tell Me Something Good-- Ms. Coleen Manzano --2nd grade Teacher--Shenandoah Elementary School "Mrs. Manzano goes above and beyond for all her students. She had one of my older kids for 1st grade and he was having a lot of difficulty and she communicated with me and together we worked to figure out how to best help him. It took all school year and multiple different ideas, but she never gave up on him. Then she had another of my kids for 1st grade and now again in 2nd grade and while he can be difficult she has the patience of a Saint and again, she communicates with me and we work together to figure out the best way to help him. I know she's like that with all her students. They are all treated as if they were her own. I can never thank her enough for how she's been with my kids in the 3 years they've had her.
