On March 23rd, four LHS students represented our school at the virtual VaSCL Student Leadership Conference. This year's theme, "School Re-Imagined: Teen Designed Solutions" asked students to work as design teams, addressing one problem facing today's teens in school. The 2022 Student Leadership Design Institute provided student teams an opportunity to draw upon their own experiences and observations to create team solutions that address critical issues that impact today’s high school students. Teams explored innovative approaches that can help schools become more responsive to learners’ needs and considered how they can help create an environment in their schools that makes all students want to come to school and want to learn because they feel respected and their talents and abilities are valued.

Luray High School will be hosting an Art Show featuring art from Luray High School, Luray Middle School, Luray Elementary School, and Springfield Elementary School. The Art Show will be held April 11th from 6pm-8pm.

LHS is appreciative of the furniture we have received to add additional space and convenience for our students. The pictures of the library below showcase one of the many ways that high top tables have been utilized in the building.
