Register for the Stanley Stingrays Swim Team at the Hawksbill Pool in Stanley on Tuesday, March 31st 5-8 p.m. Cost:$65.00 for the first child and $60.00 for additional siblings. Season May 26th- July 12. For those ages 4 to 18 in the towns of Luray, Stanley, and Shenandoah.

A huge week in basketball for both Page and Luray.Last night the Luray Varsity Girls defeated Madison County (45-30),Page County Varsity Boys pummeled Rappahannock(87-47), unfortunately Page County Girls fell in a heartbreaker to Strasburg(42-40).Details coming for next games.

Mr. Lagoda’s Tech Foundation and Guitar Club students visited the Paul Reed Smith guitar factory in Stevensville, MD. During the tour they saw how guitars are made and the skill and cutting edge technology that it takes to make a $5,000 guitar. In addition, they received free wood for the LHS shop to be used on class projects.

The 1st annual Luray High School Boosters golf tournament will be held on June 17, 2020. See the attached flyer for details.
On February 15th the LHS Forensics and Debate teams traveled to Madison County High School to participate in a Virginia Catholic Forensics League preliminary competition. Luray finished as the 2nd place Sweepstakes Team. Individual awards were as follows:

Morgan Strassner - 1st Original Oratory
Mason Ryan & Juelian Warrick - 2nd Duo Dramatic Interpretation
Aidan Brown - 3rd Dramatic Interpretation
Kaya Huffman - 3rd Oral Interpretation
Junul Dale Smith - 3rd Extemporaneous
Wyatt Atkins - 4th Extemporaneous
Hailey Thomas - 5th Oral Interpretation
Several students also qualified for the VCFL State Finals in March.
