candy skulls

Spanish 3, Spanish 4 and 5 Honors classes at Luray High School spent several days creating a personal product to represent the tradition of Dia de los Muertos.

The students personalized their own "Calavera/Calaca by designing and painting by hand a creative work of art.

The LHS Faculty and Staff were invited to vote for their class favorite design and the overall  "Best in Show" during the week of November 7th.

Art II classes created Sugar Skull designs as part of their printmaking unit and learned about Dia de Los Muertos traditions as well.
