Students in Introduction to Spanish & Cultures class at Page County Middle School learned about the countries and culture of Mexico and Spain. Following the lessons on these two countries the students went on a Virtual Reality Trip to both Mexico and Spain. With the help our wonderful division ITRT teachers, Mrs. Brumfield and Mrs. Shifflett, the students took a Hot Air balloon ride over Teotihuacan, Mexico. They visited Madrid, the capital and largest city in Spain, and spent a day in Barcelona, where they toured the inside of the stunning church, Sagrada Familia. The students and Mrs. Weakley had a blast on these virtual tours.
Virtual Reality experiences are just some of the ways our division is able to expose our students to other countries and cultures.
