To celebrate Women's History Month, 6th grade art students at PCMS created a cross-curricular project based on a woman of their choosing. The students chose a woman that they found intriguing and completed research in order to learn about this woman's life, challenges, and accomplishments. Based on that research, students also created a collage and wrote a descriptive paragraph to celebrate their woman. Not only was this project designed to express to students the tremendous importance of Women's History Month, but to also incorporate research skills, history, proper writing skills, and the art of collage.
