We look forward to seeing you at orientation this Wednesday, August 21st! Sixth-grade families need to arrive at 2:00 pm. Please note that sixth-grade students will not only receive an informational presentation from LMS but also go through their entire first-day schedule including classes on all three floors of our school building. Seventh and eighth-grade families should arrive any time between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to pick up their schedule and meet their teachers. Parents/Guardians, please remember to log in to Parent Portal before orientation and submit or complete all forms to speed up the arrival process. Be Sure Your Child Is Up-To-Date On Immunizations For The 2024-2025 School Year: The Virginia Department of Health provides information regarding required immunizations for school. PCPS schools will hold activities and/or events on Saturday, August 10, 2024. No student will be penalized for not being able to partcipate due to a lack of power, road conditions in their area or a lack of transportation. Thank you.

Dear PCPS Families, Given the inclement weather forecast for Page County this evening and through tomorrow, PCPS will be ending all activities by 7:30pm Thursday, August 8, 2024. The Parent & Student Athletic Meeting scheduled at Luray High School this evening will continue as scheduled and conclude by 7:30pm. Additionally, out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, all schools, offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, August 9, 2024 and all activities and events are canceled. A decision about Saturday activities will be made by noon on Friday. Please stay safe over the next two days. Thank you!

Dear PCPS Faculty, Staff, Students and Families, Page County Public Schools (PCPS) is announcing the immediate retirement of the Page County High School (PCHS) Athletic Director. Mr. Frankie Comer has decided that he needs to step down from his role as the Athletic Director due to health concerns. Mr. Comer began his 37-year career in education at Page County High School where he has served as a Health and Physical Education teacher, a Driver Education instructor, and an alternative education teacher. He has also served as an assistant principal across the division, the varsity and junior varsity football coach at PCHS, and the head coach and assistant track coach at PCHS. The open position of Athletic Director is posted on the division’s website. Division and school staff will be working as quickly as possible to fill this position, as well as providing ongoing support to ensure a seamless transition for students, families and the school. PCPS and PCHS thanks Mr. Comer for his many years of dedicated service to the division and we extend our best wishes to him. Thank you, Antonia M. Fox, Ed.D. Superintendent
